Dr. Menon was a medical oncologist in private practice at Starling Physicians, Hartford, Connecticut, USA for 17 years. He was also a founding member of the Board of Directors of Starling Physicians and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hartford County Medical Association (2008–13).

In addition, as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington, Connecticut, Dr. Menon has taught several post-doctoral fellows, medical residents and students.

Dr. Meher Ursekar is a Mentor and Head Brain Health Imaging, at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. She is internationally recognised as an expert on diseases and injuries of the brain, head, neck, and spine.

She completed her M.D. in Radio-diagnosis from the University of Mumbai in 1989, ranking first at the University. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training in Mumbai at Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital, respectively. Thereafter, she pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuroradiology at the New York University Medical Centre in 1990.

Dr. Ursekar has worked extensively in the field of Neuroradiology during her tenure as an Honorary Consultant at Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences and as a Consultant Neuroradiologist at Jankharia Imaging. She has received several awards and authored multiple research papers. She is on the editorial boards of several radiology journals and has been an active member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. She is recognised for cutting-edge research into applying advanced neuroimaging techniques. She pioneered the use of advanced neuroimaging techniques, such as functional MRI for the evaluation of brain tumours and epilepsy. Her special expertise is in paediatric neuroimaging.
