Paediatric Intensive Care

Overview

The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital is a dedicated tertiary-level unit that provides specialised 24×7 medical care for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents.

With a seven-bed capacity, the unit is designed to manage complex and high-acuity cases, including cardiac emergencies, multi-organ failure, sepsis, and post-surgical complications.

Our multidisciplinary team of paediatric intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, respiratory therapists, and specialists provides round-the-clock monitoring and individualised treatment.

Our PICU is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of evidence-based medical care while providing emotional support and transparent communication with families throughout every step of the child’s healing journey.
