Our Services

The common dental procedures performed by our department are as follows:

  • Dental cleaning (prophylaxis): Removing plaque and tartar buildup and help prevent cavities, gum disease, along with overall oral health support.
  • Composite bonding/ Restorations: Treatment of caries, i.e., destruction of teeth, and filling cavities to restore the tooth's function and structure, preventing further decay.
  • Root canal/Re-root canal treatment: Removal of the diseased pulp (the inner soft tooth tissue), followed by the filling the canals inside the tooth’s root.
  • Prosthesis application: An artificial replacement (prosthesis) for damaged/missing teeth is added, such as a crown, a tooth-shaped cap placed over a damaged tooth, or bridge, a prosthesis that replaces missing teeth.
  • Dental implants: Provides a permanent solution for replacing missing teeth, restores biting and chewing function, prevents bone loss in the jaw, and improves facial appearance.
  • Orthodontic treatment: The application of braces or aligners corrects teeth alignment and bite issues, improves oral hygiene by making the teeth easier to clean, enhances appearance, and can prevent future dental problems.
  • Dental extractions: Removal of severely damaged or infected teeth; this prevents the spread of infection and alleviates pain.
  • Teeth whitening: Enhances the appearance of teeth by reducing discolouration and lightening stains, boosting self-confidence
  • Paediatric dentistry: Full-mouth rehabilitation under conscious sedation and general anaesthesia is available for uncooperative paediatric patients, mentally challenged children, and children with various disorders.
  • Preventive dentistry: Sealants protect the chewing surfaces of molars and premolars from decay by sealing off deep grooves where bacteria and food particles can accumulate.

  • Detection of cavities between teeth or under existing fillings, erosion in the bone, periodontal disease, and abnormalities in tooth roots.
  • Early detection of dental problems via X-ray imaging, which enables timely intervention, preventing more extensive and costly treatments later.
  • Monitoring the development of teeth and jaws in children and adolescents, aiding in orthodontic treatment planning.
  • Tracking changes in oral health over time, helping dentists tailor treatment plans according to the patient's needs.

Technology & Infrastructure

At our department, we employ highly specific diagnostic tools to predict and enhance treatment outcomes. With cutting-edge technologies, such as advanced imaging systems and precision diagnostics, we ensure accurate detection, early intervention, and comprehensive care for maintaining optimal oral health. We are equipped with the following state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment:

Preparing for Your Visit

Dental X-ray: Overall, dental X-ray is essential for comprehensive dental care, enabling accurate diagnoses and effective treatments, while ensuring patient safety and well-being. Our dental X-ray equipment emits very low levels of radiation and provides instant images for immediate analysis.

Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT): CBCT is a highly advanced 3D imaging technique used for a more comprehensive evaluation of dental conditions. Our CBCT captures comprehensive, detailed 3D images of dental structures, bones, soft tissues, and nerve pathways in a single scan. Our CBCT technology offers notably more detailed data than conventional X-ray while using a lower radiation dose than traditional CT scans, thus ensuring maximal patient safety.

Orthopantomogram (OPG): An OPG is a panoramic dental X-ray that captures images of the upper and lower jaw. The OPG also reveals the number, position, and growth of all the teeth, including those that have yet to erupt through the gums. This equipment is particularly assists in orthodontic treatment planning

Intraoral Digital Scanner: Our 3Shape TRIOS dental intraoral scanner is an innovative handheld 3D scanning device that displays a patient’s three-dimensional dental impression on a screen almost immediately after the scanning process is completed. This machine helps patients gain a clearer understanding of their oral health. The accuracy of this scanner minimises the need for remake of restorations, helping patients avoid returning to the dentist for corrections and leading to improved treatment outcomes
