The Tower
  • Medical Management involves the use of medicines to relieve pain safely and effectively.
  • Interventional Procedures:
    • Epidural steroid injections are used to reduce inflammation and pain in the spine.
    • Facet joint injections are used to relieve joint pain in the spine.
    • Neurolytic injections, where nerves are targeted to block long-standing pain.
    • Neurolept therapy to manage severe, resistant pain with advanced drug techniques.
    • Nerve Blocks (Lumbar, Celiac, Hypogastric, Stellate, Sphenopalatine) to block pain signals from specific nerve groups.
    • Radiofrequency ablations, where heat is used to disrupt pain-carrying nerves.
    • Peripheral nerve blocks involve numbing of the nerves outside the spinal cord.
    • Dry needling / Trigger point injections are used to relieve muscle pain and stiffness.
  • Post-operative Pain Care to manage pain after surgery for a smooth recovery.
  • Labour Pain Management to provide safe pain relief during childbirth.
  • Neuromodulation Therapy, where nerve stimulation is used to control complex chronic pain.
  • Physical and Occupational Therapy is used to improve strength and daily function.
  • Psychological approaches, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, guided imagery, biofeedback, and group/individual psychological counselling, for better pain management.
  • Education & Counselling to help understand and manage chronic pain more effectively.
The Tower

We treat patients with the following conditions (among others):

  • Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS): Ongoing pain in a limb after injury or surgery
  • Acute pain (Perioperative): Short-term pain around the time of surgery
  • Chronic pain: Pain lasting more than 3 months, often affecting daily life
  • Arthritic and joint pain: Pain in shoulders, knees, hips, or other joints and stiffness due to arthritis.
  • Vascular pain: Pain from poor blood flow or inflamed blood vessels
  • Myofascial pain: Muscle pain caused by sensitive trigger points
  • Pain related to sports injuries
  • Cancer-related pain
  • Neuropathic pain: Nerve pain often felt as burning, tingling, or shooting sensations
  • Abdominal or pelvic pain: Ongoing pain in the stomach or lower pelvic area
  • Neck pain and lower back pain
  • Headaches, such as migraines and tension-related headaches
  • Trigeminal neuralgia: Sudden, sharp facial pain due to nerve irritation
