Dr. Kamlesh Khandelwal is a consultant surgeon at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Khandelwal completed his MBBS degree at T N Medical College, University of Mumbai in 1978 followed by an MS in General Surgery in 1981 from B. Y. L. Nair Hospital and T N Medical College, University of Mumbai. He completed the Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery in 2007 and the Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in 2014. He received training in robotic surgery at Atlanta, USA in 2016.
Dr. Khandelwal has over three decades of experience in general and laparoscopic surgery, with a focus on GI tract and endocrine surgeries. He is particularly skilled in performing pancreatic, colon, and adrenal surgeries using a minimal access approach.
Dr. Khandelwal is a life member of several professional bodies, including the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons, the Association of Surgeons of India, the Mumbai Surgical Society, and the European Hernia Society. As an active academician, he has trained many undergraduate and postgraduate students and authored six journal publications and several conference papers.

Dr. Shinde completed her Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics at the All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Mumbai in 1996 and became a certified Mother Support Counselor recognized by the Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India (BPNI) in Maharashtra in 2003. She successfully completed her International Board Lactation Consultant Exam (IBLCE) in 2009, became a certified Infant and Young Child Nutrition (IYCN) Level 1 Trainer in 2006, and has served as a Lead Trainer since 2008. She has been a Certified Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) Assessor since 2009. She received her Doctorate in Food and Nutrition with a specialization in Lactation Management from the Indian Virtual University for Peace and Education in 2016. Hospital and G.S. Medical College and currently, she is a Professor Emeritus.
Dr. Dabholkar was the Secretary and President of the Foundation for Head & Neck Oncology, a national body of surgical oncologists. She received the President of India Medal for the highest marks in M.B.B.S. and has been awarded by the Vice President of India for her achievements in cancer treatment. She has also received the Women Achiever Award from CPA. Dr. Dabholkar was among only 8 women presidents of the American and Neck Oncology Society (A.H.N.S.). Dr. Jueeli Barpande is a Consultant at the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management, Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. She has been associated with this hospital since its inception of 10 years.
She completed her M.B.B.S. from MGM’s Medical College, Aurangabad, followed by an M.D. from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital in 2012. Additionally, she holds the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, awarded in 2015.
Prior to her association with Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Dr. Barpande worked at R.N. Cooper Hospital, Mumbai (2012), and as a Clinical Associate at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.
She is highly proficient in managing high-risk patients, particularly those undergoing bariatric surgery (over 150 kg), and robotic urological, gynaecological & intestinal surgeries, with a focus on perioperative care and pain management. Dr. Jitendra Jagtap specialises in laparoscopic, robotic, and endourological surgeries. His interests include minimally invasive surgeries, like RIRS, Miniperc, and Microperc for kidney stone diseases and laparoscopic and robotic procedures for benign and malignant disorders of the urogenital system.
During his stint as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Surgery, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, he became an expert in laparoscopic procedures and was ranked first for the post of Assistant Professor by the Gujarat Public Service Commission. After a five-year urology residency at the Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital, Nadiad, Dr. Jagtap joined Global Hospitals, Mumbai.
His training at a large tertiary referral centre required Dr. Jagtap to be involved in many clinical studies, allowing him to analyse patient results and improve operative outcomes by refining and improvising surgical techniques. He mentors surgeons at JPAC, Nadiad and CeMAST, Karl Storz, Mumbai.

He worked for a year in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and got his training in Difficult airway management and Fibreoptic Intubations. He also pursued a Post-Doctorate Course in Cardiac Anaesthesiology and Critical Care from Amritha Institute of Medical Sciences, Amritha University, Cochin, where he was also an Assistant Professor in cardiac anaesthesiology and critical care.
He was a Consultant Cardiac Anaesthetist in Chennai with Dr.K.M. Cherian who is considered as the Pioneer of Paediatric Cardiac surgery and Heart-Lung Transplant in India. Dr. Jeril has worked at reputed hospitals in Mumbai and Chennai as a paediatric and neonatal cardiac anaesthesiologist and intensivist. He was the paediatric cardiac anaesthesiologist and intensivist in the team led by the Swiss paediatric cardiac surgeon Dr. Kalangos at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Lagos, Nigeria, in 2014, where he singlehandedly managed the post-operative ICU.
Dr. Jeril joined our hospital in 2016 and started the Paediatric Cardiac Critical Care Course and the MUHS-affiliated Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiovascular Anaesthesia, and has also been actively conducting PALS training in our hospital.
