Dr. Phiroze Soonawalla trained in urology at KEM Hospital, Mumbai, where he obtained M.S. (Surgery) then M.Ch. and D.N.B. He further got trained in London at the Institute of Urology and Middlesex Hospitals, where he completed his FRCS. He was appointed as Consultant Transplant Surgeon at the Institute of Urology in London from 1993 to 1995. He then returned to Mumbai and has been working as a consultant urologist and transplant surgeon at several reputable hospitals in Mumbai.
Dr. Soonawalla’s special areas of interest are renal transplant, uro-oncology and endourology. He has performed over 800 non-scalpel vasectomies and trained doctors in the procedure. He has also performed infertility treatments, including microsurgical reconstructions. Dr. Soonawalla has been instrumental in implementing kidney transplant programmes at various hospitals in Mumbai and Pune.
Dr. Soonawalla has several publications in various medical journals and has been involved in multiple research projects. He has also won many awards and honours in his academic and professional career.

Dr. Percy Jal Chibber received practical training in Percutaneous Renal Surgery and Radiology at the Institute of Urology, London, U.K. and Long Island Jewish Hospital, New York, U.S.A. (1983). Furthermore, he underwent intensive robotic training as a console surgeon at the OLV Robotic Surgery Institute, Belgium (2011).
Dr. Chibber also serves as the Director of Urology at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai, and a Senior Consultant Urologist at Breach Candy Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. He is also an ex-visiting Honorary Consultant (Laparoscopic Urology) at Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Mumbai. Earlier, he served as an Assistant Professor (1982‒1990), Associate Professor (1990‒1995), and Professor and Head (1995‒2007) of Urology and Renal Transplantation at Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai.
Dr. Chibber has been a pioneer in percutaneous renal surgery in India. His has successfully treated more than 2000 patients. He was invited as a faculty member at the World Congress of Endourology in 2004. He has established a Laparoscopic Urology Surgery Unit at Grant Medical College. He has trained numerous residents in reconstructive procedures, including laparoscopic donor nephrectomy and laparoscopic radical nephrectomy among others. He has conducted courses on percutaneous renal surgery techniques all over India. He was selected as an international scholar at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for a month (May 2001). He has published many peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals and has authored many chapters in various books.

Dr. Partha Guharay is a Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Guharay completed his MBBS in 1980 followed by a DGO and MD (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from the University of Calcutta. He has specialised in managing superovulation and intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilisation and embryo transfer, surrogacy, cryopreservation of embryos, interventional sonography, selective foetal reduction, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and routine gynaecological cases, and high-risk and routine obstetric cases.
Dr. Guharay has been involved in several multi-centric studies funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research and Federation of the Obstetrics & Gynaecological Society of India (FOGSI). He has co-authored five research papers and seven book chapters. He has been an invited speaker and chairperson at many international conferences. Dr. Parna Thakkar is the Chief Neuro-anaesthesiologist and Course Director of Neuro-anesthesia fellowship programme in the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
With extensive experience, she has worked as a consultant anaesthesiologist at P.D. Hinduja and Khar Hinduja Hospitals and as a visiting consultant at Bombay Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, Wadia Maternity and Children’s Hospital, and Hindu Sabha Hospital. Dr. Thakkar has also held the position of clinical associate at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
She has had special training in labour analgesia (Fernandez Hospital, Hyderabad), peripheral nerve blocks and palliative care (Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore), bariatric anaesthesia (Max Hospital, Delhi), difficult airway management (Kailash Cancer Hospital, Vadodara), and liver transplant anaesthesia (Apollo Hospitals, Delhi & Chennai).
Dr. Thakkar is an active member of the medical community, serving as the editor of the SAMS Newsletter, hon. secretary of the Indian Society of Anaesthesia (ISA) Thane, and as an executive committee member of the Association of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care (ANACC), Mumbai. She is a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Anaesthesia, Practical Evidence in Anaesthesia and Knowledge, and a board member of IJA West Zone. Additionally, she serves as assistant editor for the ISA Newsletter-Vapour and has been the organising secretary for several anaesthesia conferences and CMEs.
With more than 160 presentations, lectures, and publications, Dr. Thakkar has made significant contributions to the field. She gave a presentation on “Enhancing Safety of Bariatric Patients” at the 4th World Congress of Clinical Safety, Austria. She has also given an oration lecture on World Anaesthesia Day (Hyderabad, 2016). Dr. Thakkar has conducted several live demonstrations all over the country on the technique of “Low flow anaesthesia and use of inhalational agents.” She is a Faculty with the Indian Resuscitation Council (I.R.C.). Additionally, she teaches Neuro-anaesthesia as part of the DNB Anaesthesia curriculum.

Dr. Paresh Jain is one of the first Consultant Colorectal surgeons at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hosptial. He performs various colorectal oncology, ranging from open radical procedures to Robotic Oncosurgery.
He was trained in Gastrointestinal surgery in Mumbai and then excelled exclusively in the field of colorectal cancer. He went to the United Kingdom to train and sharpen his skills in various sub-specialities of Colorectal Surgery, including radical surgery, Robotic Surgery, Natural Orifice Surgery, and Peritoneal surface malignancies in various parts of UK for 5 years. He received additional training for peritoneal surface malignancy for performing HIPEC and PIPAC. After completing his training, he then moved to India for further practise.

Dr. Parekh graduated from the University of Mumbai. He then earned his MD in Paediatrics from Topiwala National Medical College (TNMC) and Nair Hospital, as well as his DCH. A leading paediatrician in South Mumbai, Dr. Parekh has been in private practice since 1978. He also served as the paediatrician for the household of His Excellency, the Governor of Maharashtra, in 1980. Dr. Parekh worked in the infectious diseases department at Kasturba Hospital as an Assistant Honorary Professor and Assistant Professor of Paediatrics at Nair Hospital. In 1987, he joined Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre as an Honorary Paediatrician. He has also held the position of Head of the Department of Paediatrics at Kasturba Hospital and served as a Professor of Paediatrics at TNMC and Nair Hospital from 1991 to 2001.
Additionally, Dr. Parekh ranked first in DCH and received the Mrs. Indumati Zaveri Prize (Gold Medal). He has been actively engaged in research and has authored publications on various paediatric subspecialties in several journals over the past 37 years. Dr. Parekh contributed a chapter on measles in the ‘Textbook of Medicine’ (2008) and another on paediatric tuberculosis in a UK-published book on thoracic surgery.

After graduating from Mithibai College, he completed his Master’s Program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Bombay and was trained at Cooper Hospital.
Mr. Kinger has been associated with several reputed schools and colleges and worked as a psychology professor for 4 years. He was interviewed by India Today magazine as a couples therapist. He has also conducted a large-scale study on the assessment of ‘Stress Levels in Mumbai Police’ at Wockhardt Hospital, supported by Harvard University.

Dr. Niyati Shah manages patients with all types of solid and hematological cancer with a focus on providing advanced molecular therapeutics for difficult-to-treat malignancies. She is actively involved in translational research conducted in the department to ensure patients receive novel targeted drugs at par with global oncology care.
She had completed her M.B.B.S degree from Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital in Pune.
