Coronary artery bypass, where we use healthy blood vessels from other body parts (as grafts) to ‘bypass’ the coronary arteries (which supply blood to the heart) when these arteries are blocked. We have specialists for several types of coronary artery bypass including Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass (OPCAB), CABG, Minimally Invasive Direct CABG, Endoscopic Assisted Coronary Artery Bypass (EA-CAB), Redo CABG, and robot-assisted CABG.
Valve replacement and repair, where we perform advanced valve-preserving techniques, such as neo-aortic valve creation, valve-sparing aortic root remodelling, and mitral and tricuspid valve repair, to help repair/correct diseased valves.
Abdominal aortic surgery that helps treat abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs), which are abnormal widenings of the aorta.
Carotid endarterectomy, which involves the removal of plaques from the carotid arteries, which supply blood to the brain, face, and neck.

Our department offers minimal-access cardiac surgeries, supported by advanced tools, such as 3D transoesophageal echocardiography for real-time, detailed heart imaging. Our team specializes in robot-assisted CABG, minimally invasive valve replacements, and surgeries for advanced heart failure.
