She has completed her M.D. in internal medicine from B.Y.L Nair Hospital and T.N. Medical College, gaining further critical care experience at S.L. Raheja and P. D. Hinduja Hospitals. She pursued D.N.B. Nephrology at P. D. Hinduja Hospital, where she also served as an Associate in the Nephrology Department. Additionally, she honed her skills in nephrology, dialysis, and transplantation in leading hospitals in Toronto Canada.

Dr. Tapiawala has a lot of experience in taking care of patients who have received organ transplants. This includes transplants of the kidney, kidney and pancreas together, heart and lungs, and liver. She gained this experience while working at the Multi-Organ Transplant Unit at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada.

She successfully runs an HLA immunology lab in Mumbai and has a keen interest in risk-stratifying immunological factors before patients undergo kidney transplantation. Dr. Tapiawala’s expertise in transplant immunology plays a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes.

Dr. Shirish Bhagvat is a Consultant Surgeon at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Dr. Bhagvat completed his M.B.B.S. degree at T.N. Medical College, University of Mumbai in 1981 followed by an M.S. in General Surgery in 1986 at B.Y.L. Nair Hospital and T.N. The department offers comprehensive services, including round-the-clock postoperative pain management, intra-departmental pain referrals, and the management of the Pain Clinic. Dr. Sheetal is also involved in performing interventional acute and chronic pain procedures, such as facet joint blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, complex regional pain management, and cancer pain management.

Throughout her career, Dr. Shah has been actively involved in multiple research projects and has contributed to several teaching programmes. As an American Heart Association (AHA)-certified Trainer in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, she is committed to training healthcare professionals in life-saving techniques.
