Our care spans from routine checkups to emergency interventions and includes comprehensive support for age-related health concerns.

Clinical Procedures and Emergency Care

  • Arterial blood gas analysis: Measures oxygen, carbon dioxide and blood-pH to assess lung function and acid-base balance
  • Ryle’s tube insertion: Involves a feeding tube to provide nutrition, medicine or to remove stomach contents.
  • Pleural (thoracocentesis) and abdominal paracentesis (ascitic tap): Ultrasound-guided drainage of excess fluid from the chest or abdomen, commonly needed in liver or lung conditions.
  • Lumbar puncture: Used to collect or drain spinal fluid for diagnosis or relieving pressure around the brain.
  • Endotracheal intubation: Involves a tube inserted through the mouth or nose, which helps patients breathe during critical emergencies or surgery.
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and defibrillation: Life-saving procedures (chest compressions or defibrillation) used during cardiac arrest to restore the normal heartbeat in patients.
  • Temporary pacemaker insertion: This helps stabilise heart rhythm during emergencies.
  • Central venous and arterial line catheterisation: Allows real-time monitoring of direct arterial pressure monitoring and safe administration of vasoactive drugs or large-volume infusions through central veins.

  • Executive health check-ups: Comprehensive physical examinations and tests to detect health conditions early and guide lifestyle changes.

  • Hypertension: High blood pressure that raises the risk of stroke, heart attack, and heart failure.
  • Dyslipidaemia: Abnormal blood triglycerides or cholesterol level, which can lead to heart disease.
  • Obesity: Weight issues linked to hormone imbalance or lifestyle factors, requiring personalised interventions.

Respiratory and Infectious Diseases

Bone and Joint Disorders

  • Osteopenia: Early-stage bone density loss that can lead to osteoporosis if untreated.
  • Vitamin deficiency: Lack of essential vitamins due to inadequate dietary intake or underlying disorders, such as malabsorption, often causing fatigue, hair loss, or confusion.

Age-Related Conditions

  • Frailty: Generalised decline in strength and resilience, making older adults more vulnerable to falls, hospitalisations, and a reduced ability to recover from illness.
  • Unintentional weight loss/malnutrition: Often due to poor dietary intake or illness, impacting immunity and healing.
  • Depression in elderly: A commonly known mental health disorder characterised by persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness and loss of interest in activities.
  • Decline in functioning: Gradual loss of physical and cognitive performance in daily activities.
  • Falls and mobility issues: A major concern for seniors, often due to muscle weakness, poor balance, and environmental hazards.

  • Medication issues (polypharmacy): Managing multiple medications to avoid harmful interactions, specially in older adults.

Other Common Conditions

  • Persistent fever: May indicate an underlying infection or chronic medical condition and needs timely evaluation.
