Bio:

Dr. Snehal Sanghavi is a Mentor associated with the Department of Internal Medicine at the Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

He completed his M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Internal Medicine and has over four decades of experience as an Internist and Clinical Cardiologist.

In addition to his role in our hospital, Dr. Sanghavi is a Senior Honorary Consulting Physician at Saifee and Bhatia Hospital. His extensive career includes services at numerous other institutions, such as Jaslok Hospital, G. T. Hospital, and Dalvi Hospital. He also worked at the Jersey Medical Center, USA in 1977.

Dr. Sanghavi possesses significant teaching experience, having taught students at Grant Medical College and G.S. Medical College. He has been a Postgraduate Teacher for M.D. (Internal Medicine) at Bombay University and is a National Board of Examination (NBE)-recognised Teacher for Diplomate of National Board (D.N.B.) in Internal Medicine. Additionally, he teaches students pursuing Diploma in Diabetes Mellitus (College of Physicians & Surgeons, CPS-recognised) at Saifee Hospital and is an NBE-recognised Teacher for D.N.B. in Family Medicine at the same institution.

Previously, Dr. Sanghavi served as an Honorary Physician to the Governor of Maharashtra for more than 15 years. He has also been a frequent Examiner for the subject of Medicine in M.B.B.S., and Convenor and Examiner for M.D. (Internal Medicine) at Bombay University. He was selected by the Rotary Club of Bombay (South) for GSE Programme to California in March 1977.

He previously served as the Secretary for the Cardiological Society of India, Bombay Chapter (1982–1983) during which he organised various scientific meetings, and later he became the Vice President of the Bombay Chapter of Cardiological Society of India (CSI).

Dr. Sanghavi actively participates in numerous national and international conferences and has conducted many Continuing Medical Education (CME) Programmes for training family physicians all across Mumbai.
