The Tower
  • Comprehensive breast cancer screening and diagnostics
  • Breast-conserving surgeries and mastectomies
  • Advanced reconstructive techniques, including implant and flap-based options.

  • Specialised services
    • Genetic counselling and risk reduction: This includes BRCA screening, a genetic test to detect mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, which are associated with the increased risk of developing breast or ovarian cancers, and further education and awareness sessions with our experts.
    • Consultations with the multidisciplinary tumour board for personalised treatment Skin- and nipple-sparing mastectomy: Surgical procedures to remove the breast tissue, while preserving the breast skin (skin-sparing mastectomy) or nipple-areola region (nipple-sparing mastectomy); these ensure optimal cancer control while preserving natural aesthetics.

  • Advanced surgical techniques
    • Skin- and nipple-sparing mastectomy: Surgical procedures to remove the breast tissue, while preserving the breast skin (skin-sparing mastectomy) or nipple-areola region (nipple-sparing mastectomy); these ensure optimal cancer control while preserving natural aesthetics.
    • Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB): The biopsy of the first lymph node(s) into which a primary tumour is expected to spread to; this helps reduce unnecessary lymph node removal, minimising arm swelling.
    • Oncoplastic surgery: A combination of breast cancer removal and breast reconstruction techniques to achieve optimal aesthetics.

  • Microsurgical reconstruction
    • Deep inferior epigastric artery perforator (DIEP) and transverse rectus abdominis myo-cutaneous (TRAM) flaps: Breast reconstruction surgeries in which a flap of the skin, blood vessels, and fat (DIEP) or skin, fat, and muscle (TRAM) from the lower abdomen are transferred to the breast site for a more natural-looking breast reconstruction.
    • Implant-based reconstruction: Breast reconstruction surgery involving the insertion of implants into the breast region to support physical and emotional recovery.
  • Regular breast self-examinations aid in early detection.
  • Modern breast cancer treatments allow for excellent cosmetic outcomes.
  • Post-surgery rehabilitation includes physical therapy to prevent lymphoedema, which is the build-up of lymphatic fluid in the arms and legs, causing swelling.
