Bio:

Dr. Susheel Bindroo is the Director of Interventional Pulmonology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. 

He received his medical degree from Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner, and did his postgraduate residency in Pulmonary Medicine from Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute and MA Medical College, Delhi. He earned his Diploma in Critical Care from the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, followed by a Fellowship in Critical Care from the National Board of Examinations. He completed his training in Interventional Pulmonology at University of Pennsylvania Medical Centre, Philadelphia under Dr. Daniel H Sterman, MD, FCCP (one of the pioneers of interventional pulmonology). He also earned a fellowship from the American College of Chest Physicians.

Dr. Bindroo specialises in the treatment of all lung-related disorders and critically ill patients. He is one of the pioneers of interventional pulmonology in India and has performed more than 500 endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) procedures and other complex procedures, including medical thoracoscopy, stenting of tracheobronchial airways, ablation of endo-bronchial tumours, and placement of indwelling pleural catheters.
