Dr. Shailesh Raina is a Consultant at the Department of Urology, Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. He is a renal transplantation expert in many prestigious institutions across the Mumbai.
Dr. Raina graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune (1975 M.B.B.S. and 1981 M.S.) and resumed his training in Urology in the UK at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, The Institute of Urology in London, and Taunton and Somerset Hospitals.
Dr. Raina trained in Robotic Arm Surgery at OLV Robotic Surgery Institute in Aalst, Belgium and the Da Vinci Training Centre IRCAD Strasbourg, France. As an Assistant Professor at J.J. Hospital, Grant Medical College in Mumbai, he helped re-establish the Renal Transplantation Programme and has been involved in D.N.B. and postgraduate teaching.
He has delivered talks and participated in many conferences and workshops as a subject expert.
