Bio:

Dr. Rahul Pandit is the Chair of Critical Care and Emergency Medical Services at the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. He is a distinguished leader in the field of critical care and oversees all Reliance Healthcare initiatives. He graduated from Mumbai University and obtained his M.D. in Anaesthesiology from Grant Medical College, Mumbai. To pursue critical care, he moved to Australia, where he completed the prestigious Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (FJFICM, FCICM), where he then worked as a consultant for several years before returning to India. He is still a visiting consultant at two hospitals in NSW, Australia. He is a pioneer in critical care echocardiography in India and is an expert in management of brain death and organ donation in the country.

He brings in rich experience and builds up on the strong foundation at Reliance Foundation Hospital to make the ICU a world-class facility with outcomes consistent with international standards. He aspires to provide the best critical care to all those in need; hence, he provides tele-ICU services to ensure top-notch critical care even in remote hospitals.
