Dr. Niyati K. Shah is a Consultant Medical Oncologist in the Department of Medical & Precision Oncology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Niyati Shah manages patients with all types of solid and hematological cancer with a focus on providing advanced molecular therapeutics for difficult-to-treat malignancies. She is actively involved in translational research conducted in the department to ensure patients receive novel targeted drugs at par with global oncology care.
She had completed her M.B.B.S degree from Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital in Pune. During her medical school, she participated in various conferences and research activities. She holds certification from ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) in clinical research.
After completing her residency in Internal Medicine, she worked as a senior resident in the cardiac ICU at Jagjivan Ram Railway Hospital; she is also experienced in managing critically ill patients. Dr Niyati continued her academic journey to specialize in Medical Oncology. While completing her Dr.N.B Medical Oncology from HealthCare Global Hospital in Bangalore, her research focused on improving Breast cancer outcomes.
She has authored many research papers published in reputed journals and also won the zonal quiz in Oncology. Her oral paper presentation was awarded the first prize at the Annual Conference of the Association of Physicians of India.
