Dr. Purandare is a Consultant at the Department of Paediatric Neurology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, where she plays a key role in providing expert care for children with neurodevelopmental conditions. Additionally, she serves as a Consultant at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children and at the Jai Vakeel Foundation Intervention Centre, School, and Vocational Training Centre. She is also the doctor in charge of the CDC Clinic at Wadia Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Purandare graduated from N.D.M.V.P. Medical College, Pune University and completed her Diploma in Child Health (D.C.H.) at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital, Parel, Mumbai, in 2004. She then obtained her D.N.B. in Paediatrics in 2006.
She ranked first in her M.B.B.S. and was awarded the Hiranandani Award in 2003 for being the best outgoing student. Additionally, she received the Smt. Indumati Javeri Prize and the Sheth Prize and Medal during her D.C.H.
Dr. Purandare completed her training in Paediatric Neurology and Neurodevelopmental Care at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for children, where she worked with Dr. Anaita Hegde. She is academically inclined and has conducted clinical studies and published papers.
