Dr. Irani completed her M.B.B.S. from MGM Medical College, University of Bombay followed by an M.D. (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital. She also completed her D.G.O. and D.N.B. from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, University of Mumbai. She is a certified aesthetic gynaecologist (London) and robotic surgeon (IRCAD France). She is proficient in handling high-risk pregnancies and operative obstetrics using her sharp clinical acumen and latest technology, such as laparoscopy/robotics.
Dr. Irani trains residents and fellows and is a member of several professional bodies such as IAGE, MOGS, FOGSI AMC, AAGL (USA), ISGE (USA), and ESAG (UK). She has conducted various seminars in corporate settings, including at IBR, Jet Airways, and Philips Health Care. She has been a part of international camps and workshops conducted in Dar-e-Salam for the under-privileged in Tanzania and Kenya
