Bio:

Dr. Bhushan M. Sabnis is a Consultant at the Department of Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. He completed his M.D. (Ortho) from AFMC, Pune, securing the first place and was honoured with Brig K.D. Khare – AFMCGold Medal for academic excellence. As a sponsored candidate by the British Council for further postgraduate education in Orthopaedics and a recipient of many international fellowships, he trained to specialize in partial-unicompartmental knee replacements - medial, lateral and patellofemoral, bi-compartmental knee replacements, and primary and revision knee replacements. 

Dr. Sabnis is trained in Knee Ligament Reconstructions including anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repairs, ACL and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstructions, Percutaneous PLC reconstruction, LCL/ medial collateral ligament (MCL) reconstruction and internal bracing techniques, meniscal implants and transplants, and cartilage regeneration procedures and osteotomies around the knee. He has been a part of many prestigious institutions in India and UK. and is currently also a Visiting Surgeon at the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Basingstoke, UK. Dr. Sabnis is a faculty at Newcastle, UK; Basingstoke, UK; and CeMAST, Mumbai. He is also a reviewer for BMJ cases and IJO. 

He has co-authored 20 publications, is working on 3 research projects, and has presented his work at numerous national and international conferences.
