Dr. Arjun Gokani is a Consultant in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. Known for his expertise in handling challenging cataract cases, he is also one of the pioneers of Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) in Mumbai.
Dr. Gokani completed his MBBS from K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai, and his Masters in Ophthalmology from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Kolkata. He trained at the prestigious Shankar Nethralaya in Chennai. He honed his skills in treating complex cataracts and became well-versed in the latest techniques for glaucoma surgery.
Dr. Gokani is known for his proficiency in premium cataract surgeries, including multifocal IOLs, toric IOLs, EDOF IOLs, and trifocal IOLs. His expertise also covers a wide range of glaucoma procedures, from trabeculectomy and Ahmed glaucoma valve implants to newer approaches like GATT and BANG.
He also has numerous publications in international journals and has been part of some of the cutting edge research at LVPEI Hospital in Hyderabad.
