Dr. Arjun Ahuja is a Consultant at the Department of Ophthalmology, Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Ahuja completed his M.B.B.S. in 1979 at T. N. Medical College & Nair Hospital, Mumbai with a distinction in Medicine. He went on to pursue a D.O.M.S., followed by an M.S. (Ophthalmology) and received a gold medal from T. N. Medical College & Nair Hospital in 1984. In 2012, he completed his M.Ch. at the University of Seychelles, securing the first rank.
Dr. Ahuja has held various positions at renowned hospitals in Mumbai, including KEM and Sion Hospital. Presently, he serves as Professor Emeritus in the Department of Ophthalmology at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital. In his academic journey, he has trained 200 postgraduates and 5000 undergraduates and has served as an Examiner for both UG and PG exams. He is also an Inspector for the Medical Council of India and a Subject Matter Expert in Ophthalmology on the FDA panel.
Dr. Ahuja was an office bearer of the Bombay Ophthalmologist Association from 2005 to 2010. Notably, he received the ‘Lachman Kriplani Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his contribution to Ophthalmology.
