Dr. Archana K. Vazifdar is a Consultant Haematologist at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing her M.D. in Pathology from Seth GS Medical college and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, in 2004, Dr. Vazifdar pursued advanced training in Haemato-oncology and flow cytometry at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
Dr. Vazifdar has been associated with Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital since its inception, being involved in establishing the haematology setup at the Department of Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Vazifdar has a keen interest in flow cytometry, coagulopathies, and haemoglobinopathies, and ensures that she enables advanced testing in these domains, while incorporating digital haematology in the Department. She is an enthusiastic teacher, who is actively involved in the D.N.B. Teaching Programme.
As a member of the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, (NABL) team of auditors, Dr. Vazifdar has also facilitated Laboratory accreditations, like NABL, National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), and Junior Chamber International (JCI), ensuring high quality standards.
Dr. Vazifdar has authored/co-authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, and has numerous scientific presentations to her credit. She has delivered over 80 invited lectures in various conferences across the country.
