Dr. Rajarathna Hegde is an accomplished Ophthalmologist with a decade of clinical and surgical experience, dedicated to advanced cataract, anterior and posterior segment care. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious K S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore and received his MS in Ophthalmology from Yenepoya University, Mangalore. To further elevate his surgical expertise, he pursued a long-term fellowship in Phacoemulsification and Refractive services at the renowned Narayana Nethralaya Super Speciality Eye Hospital, Bangalore.
Dr Hegde specializes in micro-incision cataract surgery (MICS) and performs the full spectrum of intraocular lens (IOL) implantations, including premium IOL's. Committed to compassionate and ethical eye care since 2015, Dr Hegde actively contributes to community Ophthalmology. He has been dedicatedly involved in performing free cataract surgeries through eye camps organized by the health outreach group run by the Reliance Foundation. He is also a life member of the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS).
